Twohead Show and Tell
Here's a Photoshop color comp for a new painting. I want to come up with a story about a kid who brings a twoheaded monster to class for show and tell, hopefully this gives me some inspiration when it's done.
Also, the "Cereal Killers" book was recently mentioned on Newsweek's blog and on Drawn.ca. I can't wait to see the finished book.

Cel Vinyl Painting
Here's a painting for Andy Krelle's "The Vines Group Project." Friend and CSUF alumni Andy came up with the idea to link a bunch of wooden panels with a painted line. He invited a group of artists to paint on them incorporating the line into their image. He then assembled the finished panels on his wall for everyone to check out at his yearly barbecue. I hope I'm getting mine back.

Geek Love
Here's a recent painting done as a "thank you" gift for producer Scott Mosier. Scott helped organize and promote Gallery 1988's "Crazy For Cult" show in July. Owner Jensen Karp commissioned me to make a painting from Scott's favorite book, "Geek Love." This scene shows boy "Chick" using his telekinetic powers to lift and chop meat to feed the tigers at his family's carnival. His sister "Oly", an albino dwarf, looks on.
