New Art?!

The six month break is over so I'll be posting new artwork over the next few days until I catch up with what I'm working on now. Happy New Year!

This work is from a show at Subtext in November with painters Sandra Equihua and Matte Stephens. What a great pair of artists to show with and an awesome gallery to show in.

Where The Wild Things Are painting

Here's the finished painting. I like the idea of Max's room turning into the forest without him having to go through a door or portal. Here's the "Terrible Yellow Eyes" blog again, Cory Godbey just added a bunch of new work since last time. Justin Gerard's blows me away, I hope he makes a print of it.

I'm finishing up a "Where The Wild Things Are" painting for the Terrible Yellow Eyes blog. This is one of the sketches I started off with to get the juices flowing. I'll post the painting soon.

Jab Strong Fierce

I finally got a scan of my painting, "18 Years Later", for the "Jab Strong Fierce" show at Gallery Nucleus. What would happen if Guile and Blanka saw each other at a bar today?
