Here are some recent paintings, done mostly as self promotion pieces. I didn't notice until they were all together that I like using clouds to fill in empty space, the secret is out!

Sorry for the not posting regularly like I said I would. Here's a new painting for a show at Lulubell Toy Bodega. The show is called "Almost True" and features artwork depicting historical events, this painting shows the first alien crush on a human in outer space. Woowoo.

New Art?!

The six month break is over so I'll be posting new artwork over the next few days until I catch up with what I'm working on now. Happy New Year!

This work is from a show at Subtext in November with painters Sandra Equihua and Matte Stephens. What a great pair of artists to show with and an awesome gallery to show in.

Where The Wild Things Are painting

Here's the finished painting. I like the idea of Max's room turning into the forest without him having to go through a door or portal. Here's the "Terrible Yellow Eyes" blog again, Cory Godbey just added a bunch of new work since last time. Justin Gerard's blows me away, I hope he makes a print of it.
